Politics

Politics in America are so toxic, so repugnant, it’s hard to even vote. For example, the 2014 mid-terms were met with re-writing voting territories so the Republicans could dominate and win elections. There’s voting ‘fraud’ imposed on citizens in order to keep them from voting – this only affects the poor, elderly, or communities of color where most of them might vote along the Democratic lines.

We’re now looking at the 2015 presidential candidates and are we in for a treat. Glenn Greenwald reports that it could be a Bush v Clinton battle. How the hell am I going to make it in my daily chores listening to people choose between those two?

Here’s a short video by Chris Hedges that puts it oh so well:

Oh, how Hedges can twinkle his words together in such a perfect ballet.

I am hoping beyond hope that we could have a real democratic society that would allow all who wish to run for the CEO-ship of corporate America: Independents, Socialists, Progressives, and yes, even the Anarchists. Wouldn’t that debate be an amazing proof of a free society? In Seattle, the mayor is a Socialist. So, we could have a free and open election someday. But I don’t think we’ll see it until the people pull their heads out of the asses and start a peaceful rebellion.
