Hard to Find

Our news sources are atrocious. After the Iraq war, news journalists became political agenda promoters. No longer did America have a biased, hard-hitting news option unless we dug and prodded for honest reports. Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzales gave good words. Noam Chomsky, one of my all-time favs in the way of reality lost alot of credibility when he stated 9/11 wasn’t a con-job. But, he’s still up there with other truths.

But my main man, the go-to guy for real news is Glenn Greenwald. Glenn hits right between the eyes of breaking stories. He holds nothing back with his suave words and gentle, but firm tone. His time with The Guardian brought us Ed Snowden’s “NSA Spying America” story. What’s perverse is that Snowden has to hide from our “free” country for exposing lies from our gov’t. Did he tell the truth? Yes. Is he free to go about his life? Nope.

Glenn uncovers news like the old Sam Spade uncovered murder. If FOX or CNN say “Sony hacked by North Korea” you can bet Greenwald is going to have the real story. And he does! He doesn’t jump on the ‘gov’t lie’ bandwagon – he digs. And that is so missing in our culture today. Real news. Real anchors that bring Americans hard-core, deeply investigated news.

Who owns our television, print, and online media is quite disturbing.

How did we let this happen? “Enabled by FCC deregulation and a decades-long orgy of mergers and acquisitions, these 6 giants dominate our media landscape. Until regulations return (or they buy each other out of existence) they will continue to control 90% of everything Americans see, hear, and consider important.”

6 Corps own all our news sources

Are these military-contracted corporations really who we want to get news from?

It is no wonder why our fat, lazy, ignorant, poorly-educated society believes everything spewed into their living rooms. If it’s on FOX, it must be true!

Jesus – just shoot me already!
